Right now if I ask you, "What is your goal or your vision you have in your mind for the future?" I guess it would depend on the length of 'the future'.  I was teaching Lady L (My granddaughter) about the word 'future'.  It was hard to grasp as we talked about what we would be doing in ten minutes was 'the future'.  The final outcome was that only God knows the future. He has a plan in mind for each of us. We can make our lists of goals and dream of what wonderful things we want in life, but in truth we have everything we need right at this moment in time. We have exactly what we are suppose to have.  Are we appreciating it?

If your heart and hands are not open to God, how can you receive what he has for you?

This figurative painting captures the image of a young girl on the beach staring out into the great ocean. It is almost overwhelming with it's vastness. Sometimes life can be that way too.
The faithful will abound with blessings, but one who is in a hurry to be rich will not go unpunished.  Proverbs 28:20

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...

They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector. Simple and elegant for a horse painting.  Ephesians 5:1-2 "Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma."  One of the biggest challenges in walking with God is trusting Him and not trying to out think Him or to do everything your way.
