WORKSHOP BEGINS
My workshop begins tonight with a welcome reception for all the artists. Jane Crosbie is in from New Zealand traveling the longest distance... and shortest are some local artists attending from Franklin County here in Texas. We have 12 artists coming together and the energy should be rich and full of discovery.
I will share with you each morning the same meditation the artists are journaling with in their sketch/writing journal. From there they have breakfast and then we begin our day. IF I can keep up with the camera I will shoot pictures along the way starting tonight.
I have a few workshop aprons left and I am sending the first one to Jill who wanted to be here and it just would not come together on this weekend. If you would like a workshop apron, drop me an email and the first two requests will get an apron mailed to them as my gift.
Make this day count and pray for my students as they travel in from far away places to enjoy the beauty of Selah Ranch.
Laurie
“A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:” - Proverbs 31:10, 27-28
(not sure Terry would agree as we were cutting paper almost until midnight last night!)
