Another long day yesterday. Five hours at the funeral home. Then lunch and more packing and clearing out. It was seven last night before we arrived home and we were bushed.
Found out yesterday that the grandbaby has the chicken pox. I am waiting for pictures. Stace thinks it is a light case as she just had the shot for chicken pox a week ago. Most of her pox are on her body, not her face or arms. We are hoping she doesn't understand about scratching yet.
There are many irritants in life... all of our lives. How we react to those irritants matters. Things can really itch and we can scratch away at the bothersome itch. What happens next? Infection. Our nails are always carrying dirt on them so when we scratch the dirt and bad stuff enters the blood stream. Then the infection starts and spreads.
What can we do in life to avoid this? God wants us to be responsible for our actions. Each of our actions creates chain reactions...and we need to think ahead before we do things, or in some cases we chose NOT to do things. Sometimes when we chose not to take actions can cause negative things to happen as well.
Life is a challenge every day. With out God leading the way Terry and I would not know what to do. As we face many new changes and challenges in our life this weekend, we know we can trust that God has us wrapped in His care. He will help us heal our wounds and supply us with what we need.
Thank you for your calls and emails. We feel your love uplifting us.
