The Painting:  This was a delightful piece I enjoyed painting yesterday.  It was raining heavily and the natural light in the study had to be helped along with artificial.

The Thought:  Bridging is the word that came to me today.  Did you ever think about yourself being a bridge to someone else?  I know I have written about people that come and go in our lives, friends for a season you might say...but what about those that are there to bridge us, or we to bridge them?


How often are you the connector getting people together or sending one friend to another for some reason? This is bridging.   God does this to us in our lives as He actively uses us to be a bridge for someone else.  What ever the reason or the season, we are meant to be there for different people in their journey helping them cross from one thing to another.  Sometimes we hold their hand, sometimes we might even lead the way for them to cross. We transform lives by bridging for others.

I love the light on your horse and in the grass. Wonderful for painting in rain!

Bridging. Its a wonderful thought you've posted and so true. It helps explain why some friendships are so fleeting...

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those...
