The Painting: This was completed yesterday and I love the contrast of the blues and oranges. Make me an offer and I will send it your way.

Okay, I do not know why, this blog did not post Saturday morning when I wrote it.... we have been with out internet...so I am going to set this to post for Tuesday morning, but know it was written on Saturday morning.

The Thought:       Are you strong and courageous?

Now when it comes to God and the words strong and courageous many things come into play.  God speaks to each of us and encourages us to do certain things in our lives with our gifts.   Many choose not to stop to listen when He is sharing with us, certain in our destiny as we go our own way and not His way.

He looks to you to encourage you. Are you listening?  You must count on your personal courage to carry through the journey He sets up for you.  Nothing in life happens without your courage.  God wants you to be accountable for your choices and decisions in life.  He speaks to you about this all the time. You have to have courage to confront your children or to resolve family conflict. You have to have courage to make decisions which may affect the lives of others. You must have courage to follow through with those decisions.  I believe you must be strong to be courageous as you will face evil and opposition along the way. He will be with you every step of the way.

Maybe you should write down what you think God would want you to do.  Do you believe with all your heart that He wants you to do what you have written down?  If so, you now have a direction.  Now, can you be assured His presence is there with you as you take on this assignment.  Will anyone else be there to stand with you as you do it? How much determination does it require for you to do this thing that God wants you to do?  Do you face any opposition? Do you realize that success or failure is in your hands?  Everyday as you live your life, others are watching you.  You are a living example of God's love in motion.  Proclaiming His truth will always result in success.   God wants you to persevere against any opposition.  Negativity and the devil are always near to draw you from your goal.

God is calling you to be strong and courageous.  Act with courage and He will provide more courage. Use your little strength and He will provide greater strength.  This is how God transforms our lives.  I will pray for you this day...for all of us to be strong and courageous and for each of us to accept what He has given us in our lives.  He never give us more than we can handle at any one time.  You have within you the Power of the Christ.  Breath in this power and refuse to believe that you will not grow weary.  Affirm His Greatness... you are strong and courageous.

Be confident.

Laurie

"The LORD replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." Then Moses said to him, "If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.  How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?"
And the LORD said to Moses, "I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name."
Then Moses said, "Now show me your glory."
And the LORD said, "I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the LORD, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion." Exodus 33:14-19

A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...

Arrival...Refrigerator?

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2024 Arrival Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the Lord whtever you do, and he will establish your plans."   Worrisome times laced with prayers.   The world seems like a scary place lately. Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...

The Marsh... of our lives? Walking with God.

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2024 The Marsh 6 x 12 inches Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   I did two of these paintings about three years ago. They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector. Simple and elegant for a horse painting.  Ephesians 5:1-2 "Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma."  One of the biggest challenges in walking with God is trusting Him and not trying to out think Him or to do everything your way. It never works.  The Apostle Paul wrote of his own struggles in Romans 7 .  Romans 7: 22-23 “ So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the ...
