The Painting: I did this right before we moved in acrylic. I am STILL not painting. I have to paint tomorrow or I will go into withdrawals, plus I am pretty steamed yet about Jennifer. Hopefully you saw my announcement yesterday. This woman decided it was all right to steal my photos online and adjust them in Photoshop and show them as her work. This is my painting from last fall 2009.

This is another image she took from my blog to use.
The Thought: How could I NOT address honesty and integrity? In the same breath I have to practice forgiveness at a point as I work through this. Next I will be sending something through my attorney. At first yesterday I gave her all day to contact me or remove it from the internet immediately and no response has come. I realize we are to turn a cheek when we are attacked, but I have to draw a line at something this blatant when it affects me so deeply.
I truly feel sorry for folks like this as they will never know the joy of self expression. They remain immersed in the saddest part of wanting to create, and drowning in their in ability to be original and and follow the passion of what is inside. From this point praying for her to embrace the gifts that God has given to her is important. Copying other artist's work or in this case, stealing my images and fraudulently representing them as her own is the lowest of the low for an artist.
We make our own path in life and generate our own positive or negative energy. No one needs to do it for us...we do it to ourselves in our actions and words.
