The Painting: This is the beginning piece you might say... the sketch is on and the paint will begin to fly.  Stay tuned daily for updates.

The ThoughtIt all goes back to the puzzle again.   Life is a puzzle. Have you ever forced something to work in life?  Just like this darn puzzle.   We could not find all the outside edges and I contemplated snipping off one of the nubs to make it work. Of course I knew it would not work, but I wanted to try....but we didn't.  We found out yesterday after restudying the edges we were only minus one piece not five pieces.  We had some FORCED into where they should not be.  Terry patiently untangled and resolved the edges to perfection and we could begin the journey inside the edges.  He said his dad, Ben, is really good at this.  HUMMM...Ben what are you doing today?

Terry jumped in with his new found skills, or maybe I just discovered them... he actually planned out an attack by sorting ALL the pieces flat by color.  He used my canvas upside down.  (We have only dumped two of them so far.)  But stay tuned in our puzzle one as we figure it out piece by piece together.  PRAISE GOD it has replaced long spent hours numbingly staring at the computer... or the TV.  We did the puzzle last night until almost midnight.

I have decided to apply this new found knowledge to something else in life...so stay tuned for more.

Don't force anything today in your life...let God do it all...let go and let God.

Sunlit Bowl

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2025 Sunlit Bowl Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   A Painting of soft pink and white flowers   created in 2013 brings back memories of living at Lake Cypress Springs. I loved it there. It did not love me!  Mold was my downfall.  I was prolific at painting there with my studio looking over the waters of a large catfish pond and Lake Cypress Springs. The mold pushed us back to DRY Dallas.  God guides our path today.  Memories are flooding in with the morning sun.  Proverbs 4:18    “ The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”  Today will be over 100 degrees but by Saturday the high is 79. Weather is the main talk these days. Remember I am in Texas.   We heard they may get snow in the Ohio River Valley. We are to see storms from the Pacific Hurricane coming our directio...
A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...
