The Painting: Rough overlays of Acrylic as this painting evolved through many hours yesterday and early this morning. It began as a horizontal painting with three horses running at a slight angled. From there it pushed into a single horse, fired with flare and energy.
The Thought:
"Never allow someone to be your priority while allowing yourself to be their option"
My daughter sent me this yesterday and even this morning I am staring at it reflectively. It is pretty deep when you think about it. Comes back to the "take care of yourself" issue that so many of us do not do, especially us mothers. God seems to gift us with the need to fix things for everyone around us. As we enable them we become their answer, or their option.
What would you like to do for you today? What is something you have dreamed of getting around to? Now is the moment to seize it and do it.
