Lauren was here yesterday. She has grown so much in the past week and the changes are evident. She is starting to pull that head in every direction and her neck is stronger. She played with us for several hours yesterday morning and then happily took her bottle and went to sleep. Babies draw comfort from soft voices, smiles and from nursing or taking a bottle. They think nothing of where they next meal will come from, or who is holding them next...they trust and they are comforted by us.

Where do you go for comfort? Do you give comfort to others? If something begins to stress you today, acknowledge it and give it credibility for that moment and then move on. Connect with the Father and take your thoughts away from the discomfort and trouble. Trust that He alone will be your ultimate comforter, providing you with both wisdom and strength. Then reflect that into your day today.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
