Yesterday we woke to the sleet/snow and by mid morning we were back out heading for Fed-ex. We have one more Fed Ex trip tomorrow and I pray the packages make it on time! I sent a huge one off to Italy yesterday, and one to Santa Fe NM. Still need to send one up to the east coast and one to Georgia.... Sorry I can't divulge more on the painting above... I am way excited on this one. There are actually several kind spouses that ordered work for their husband/wife. It is thrilling to be part of this! I want shared pictures for sure.

Jumping off into the thought scrambling in my head and I am NOT sure where it is going, I will ask simply, "What lies ahead?" Is the thought referring to the new year or to what God has ahead for us, or maybe both? It is in my mind stretching around right now getting a grasp on direction with this thought. Yes Kathy, I am late in posting!

Do you give space in your life to God? If you do not, you will often find Him making space for Himself in your life. I do not want to suggest this to be a happy or sad experience because He uses what He must to get our attention. Unfortunately for most of us, we have to experience something several times before we learn what we are to learn from it. No different than a child in school being taught vocabulary words. The average child has to use it, see, and write it at least 8-10 times before the words becomes theirs. I am definitely on board to say I do NOT want to be taught the same life lesson 8-10 times before I "get it". Although I do have some family members that never seem to get it. In the past I worried for them constantly appealing to God, but recently I realize I had to let go and let God work on them. God knows my heart. I have enough in my own life I need to work on.

God has called each of us to do things in our life time. There are challenges that accompany this work, often times making it difficult to be faithful to fulfill what He wants us to do. I would hazard a guess to think we are our own roadblocks 95% of the time. We simple to do not give Him space to work in our lives.

In this Christmas season, be refreshed and restored in Him. Give Him space in your life. Take time right now and visit with Him. There is something He needs you to do today. What lies ahead in your day? Elizabeth and Mary were both surprised with some changes in their lives. And those changes affected the world forever. God has something for you too. Open your heart and make a difference in what lies ahead.

Here are the photos I took of our snow on the road yesterday!

Joy and Abundance are yours, lift up your heart to Him and receive what He has to give.

Laurie

“But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:20-21

A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...

Arrival...Refrigerator?

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2024 Arrival Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the Lord whtever you do, and he will establish your plans."   Worrisome times laced with prayers.   The world seems like a scary place lately. Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...

The Marsh... of our lives? Walking with God.

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2024 The Marsh 6 x 12 inches Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   I did two of these paintings about three years ago. They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector. Simple and elegant for a horse painting.  Ephesians 5:1-2 "Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma."  One of the biggest challenges in walking with God is trusting Him and not trying to out think Him or to do everything your way. It never works.  The Apostle Paul wrote of his own struggles in Romans 7 .  Romans 7: 22-23 “ So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the ...
