This is Stacey today. I am going with her to the doctor this morning! The little TINK, Lauren Gracen is growing stronger every day! Poor Stacey is only a tiny bit over five ft tall and daddy Larry is 6ft 7inches so we are all watching Lauren grow. Not sure where Stacey will contain her.
More on this tomorrow after the visit.

I was very productive yesterday. The first thing I did was walk for about 45 minutes enjoying the early morning cold and the exercise. Then after some spiritually filled time, Mom came over and we ate lunch together. I made my huge salads that we both love and she brought one of those "pick me up and eat me roasted chickens" from the grocery store. YUM! She brought a loaf of special bread and I prepared some raspberry dipping oils for it.

She was a good trooper helping me paint edges on canvas preparing it for shipment. Then after she left I began cleaning house. I stopped about nine just in time for Brothers and Sisters, one of the few TV shows I watch. When I get back this morning I will do shipping labels and finish cleaning out closets.

John Ruskin said "every increased possession loads us with a new weariness." That is one for contemplation in this season of giving. Perhaps this year give gifts of doing so you do not LOAD folks of with all those "new possessions". Life is not about how much we can gather to our life in materialistic possessions, but is more about where we are going with our soul. I am not saying material things are bad, as they are not. I love our bed we bought. I do not wake any longer with aches and pains. It is a material possession that made our life 100 percent improved. What I am saying is, look around your house. What has not been used or appreciated or been apart of your life in the past 2 years? These are the things that are making you weary as they clutter up your living space and your life. Strive for simplicity in your life. Pass on the things you do not need for there are others that do need them.

Fine the path back to harmony with less stress and less stuff and you will discover the deeper joy and love that God has waiting for you.

Share your wealth. Share not only the things you do not need materialistically, but share the finest gifts God has graced upon you with others.

Play it forward in the Spirit of Peace.

Laurie

"Now finish the work, so that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means. For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what he does not have. Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality. " 2 Corinthians 8:11-13

Greetings Laurie, I mention and tag you in today's blog. Thank you for all your encouragement.

I like the "Prayer It Forward" message.

The baby is really getting big. My friend, Tricia, just had a 9 lb. 1 oz. boy! WOW!

Blessings, Susan
Looks like one of Monets paintings, very nice!

Fawn
It basically was in the composition of Monet from the class I was working with (ages 6-12) on Monet tying in perspective, background, mid ground, foreground, reflections, line, color, etc.
Thanks!

A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...

Arrival...Refrigerator?

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2024 Arrival Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the Lord whtever you do, and he will establish your plans."   Worrisome times laced with prayers.   The world seems like a scary place lately. Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...

The Marsh... of our lives? Walking with God.

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2024 The Marsh 6 x 12 inches Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   I did two of these paintings about three years ago. They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector. Simple and elegant for a horse painting.  Ephesians 5:1-2 "Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma."  One of the biggest challenges in walking with God is trusting Him and not trying to out think Him or to do everything your way. It never works.  The Apostle Paul wrote of his own struggles in Romans 7 .  Romans 7: 22-23 “ So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the ...
