Comfort

Divine love comforts me and inspires me to be a compassionate friend to others.
When something happens that leaves me feeling down and ready to run away from life as it seems in the moment, I take an inward journey. This is a journey to the love of God at the core of my being.
As the one source of all true compassion that has ever been or ever will be expressed, the love of God strengthens and reassures me. Uplifted by my prayer experience, I am both filled with strength and blessed with peace.
Because I have had the personal experience of being comforted by the love of God, I am able to comfort those around me who need to be consoled. I give from a compassion that arises from within me. Through God's guiding love, I am truly empathetic, finding words that speak to others of the indwelling love of God that uplifts and strengthens all.

"They met together to go and console and comfort him."--Job 2:11

I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years? You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years.
