Once again from the Daily Word:

Grace

I meet each day knowing that good awaits me.
Grace is the outpouring of God's good. Because God is, goodness exists. I cannot earn it. I cannot make it happen. I cannot escape it. Because I am one with God, my life is filled with blessings.
However, if ever I'm having difficulty seeing good in my life, I turn to favorite scriptures such as "All things work together for good for those who love God" or "My grace is sufficient for you."
The assurance that God is always with me and that God is all good, all the time, is the comfort I need to keep my faith strong so that I meet each day with courage.
I give thanks for my good. And with each word of thanksgiving, my faith grows. As my faith grows, troubles shrink to unimportance, and I look on the bright side of life where even greater good awaits me.

"You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus."--2 Timothy 2:1

Worrisome times laced with prayers. The world seems like a scary place lately. Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes. My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years? You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
