Well, I had an email about my Sovn bed. I still have to stand by my testimony that I have not slept this well EVER that I can remember. The bed puts us both in a very deep sleep and we both wake up refreshed, rested and no aches or pains. I have to adjust that this morning as I grabbed the wrong pillow last night and my neck is not the best it could be this morning. But No More BackAches... no more snoring from Terry...yeah... and he has no more pain in his shoulders and back at all. As far as the look of the flat tire bed in our huge four poster bed, the Sovn representative came out and is getting us a deeper base for the bed to set inside our four poster bed. This will not affect anything but the look. The cost of these beds is a bit heavy on the pocket book but when we weigh the rest and better health and happier body and moods, you cannot place a price on that. It truly was not any worse than many of the mid to upper priced mattresses you find at the mattress stores.

Yesterday we did succeed in getting mom's passport on its way to be renewed. We then drove out to the restaurant where Morgan works and had lunch. YUMMM. Maui Maui, fresh steamed asparagus, zucchini and broccoli. Terry had Crab with his. It almost felt like a celebration as Mom is beginning to feel better.

I want to focus on two simple words this morning, GOD PROVIDES. If you can stop fretting and let it go, TRUST that God provides, your life will be filled with peace. You have to let go of things you have very little control over. Through out the bible it reinforces this principle...LET IT GO, LET GOD. Is it so hard to stop every time your brain goes on worry mode, to simply stop and say, "God will provide. I let this go for Him to provide." If you do not let it go, it will continue to worsen and fester into something even worse. Open your hands to the heavens and let it go.

Grace,
Laurie

"Therefore do not worry, saying "What shall we eat" or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?" For all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." Matthew 6:31-34.

A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...

Arrival...Refrigerator?

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2024 Arrival Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the Lord whtever you do, and he will establish your plans."   Worrisome times laced with prayers.   The world seems like a scary place lately. Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
