Good morning. I am JUST out of bed. Told you something was captivating about the bed... I never sleep in and you know that if you are a blog reader!
This painting is a small but dynamic one with at least ten layers of paint. Not sure the picture does it justice.
Today my God-child arrives. A teenager in the house. We will see how it goes from here. Mix in Mom still staying with us and Terry's new schedule and wow, life is going to get interesting.
I want to remind many of you to take care of yourself. See to your needs today. Do something special just for you. Take time and allow yourself to wind down and be quiet. Treat yourself with something you are missing, laugh today and remember to pray and give thanks to the Lord.
I was awake for about 30 minutes in the middle of the night, and I spent that time in prayer over some things racing through my head. God and the pillow/bed won out and I went back to sleep. Quality of life is important whether you are 6, 16, 36, 56, 76 or 96. PLEASE for yourself and those that you love, take care of yourself today. DO NOT WAIT.
Grace,
Laurie
“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”- Matthew 5:14, 16
