I was honored this morning to see my Orange Poppy painting chosen as the ART of the Day on EBSQ. There was an excellent article written for the teaching of children and adults on complimentary colors. If you have the time check it out! This painting is available, just contact me. Laurie Pace
Art in the home is not just a financial investment, but a true investment in your life, your everyday life. A painting that hangs in your home becomes woven into the fabric of your life and the generations of your family. Think about it, isn't there a piece of art work you remember from your home growing up? Buying art online is a challenge, but currently you have a huge selection of talented artists selling their work through venues such as the Daily Painters Market, eBay, Artbyus, etc. The first connection with artwork should always be your initial reaction to the piece. Every artist has their spirit in their work. You are attracted to a painting by its color or its meaning, or even it's energy. Buy what you like.
Personally I have collected pieces from many of the great artists that are selling online, as well as buying their work for gifts for my own family. The talent in the market is incredible and deep. Treat yourself today and choose something painted by these fabulous artists! I am proud to be apart of this growing working creative group and even more honored to be on staff of She's Out West, a new magazine created for women by women. She's Out West
will hit the stands in December of this year. I am the featured artist in the first edition and after that will be a contributing writer on women ~ art ~ out west! If you live west of the Mississippi email me because we will do not only a current well known artist or gallery, but an up and coming artist to encourage the growth and career of women in the west.
I am painting today! Hopefully being creative and led by the LORD. He honored me with the selection of EBSQ! It was a surprise this morning.
Shalom,
Laurie
