| Daily Word — Monday, December 11, 2006 Free My mind and spirit are forever free. As a snowflake falls toward the earth, it spins and flutters along a unique path. It may ride for a great distance upon a powerful gust of wind or it may travel gently and directly to the ground. There are infinite possibilities for these intricately shaped ice crystals. Many things in our environment may remind us of freedom, though as human beings, we have been given the faculty of choice and the power to shape the world in which we live. We do not lose sight of that freedom even when rushing to fulfill appointments and responsibilities. Our freedom comes from God and through God. No matter where we are or what we are doing, the empowering spirit of God uplifts and strengthens us. Our spirits soar as we claim our unity with the One Presence and One Power in the universe. “For freedom Christ has set us free.”—Galatians 5:1 |
