GOOD MORNING WORLD>... gee I slept 10 hours last night...still battling what ever we have, but I feel more rested with the sinus headache and chills! LOL

This is a piece I painted on Saturday when I was on the phone visiting Sue. Good Morning Sue!
It is lush and thick with paint and something you can sit and stare into for hours and loose yourself with in...never seeing the same thing as you look. The colors dance and swim before your eyes creating patterns and pleasure!

Today is packing and shipping. Many pieces are being wrapped for Christmas and will be under trees. THAT is so exciting to me. A special good morning this morning to Marty and Kate...I especially hope they love their packages that are on the way...I think I am shipping five paintings? This fills me with love knowing these paintings are going into homes to become part of their lives everyday...what an honor!!!

I am off to prepare some breakfast for us invalids....Keep us in thought as we mend here.

Grace,
Laurie

This is from the Daily Word Sight this morning. It fit so well I had to share it...this is for my mother who cares for my dad, for Niki that gave love and care for Jackie, for Charlene and her love for Mike...God is our caretaker...my love to all of you. This particular painting actually blends into the word today, unplanned by me for I had intended to post a horse, but definitely in His plan.

Caregiver
The love of God is expressing through caregivers in compassionate, tender ways.
Dear God, I pray for caregivers, for they are Your love in action, supporting others along their way to healing and renewal of mind and body. With spiritual vision, they are able to interpret the expressions on faces of infants and adults who have needs but are unable to express them in words.
Caregivers see past what may seem impossible to overcome, to the truth of Your presence within all in their care. They are loving friends who give a tender touch and offer a strong shoulder to lean on wherever, whenever needed. They brighten the day, inspiring those they care for with faith and love.
“What are human beings that you are
mindful of them,
mortals that you care for them?
Yet you have made them a little
lower than God,
and crowned them with glory and honor.”
—Psalm 8:4-5

A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...

Arrival...Refrigerator?

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2024 Arrival Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the Lord whtever you do, and he will establish your plans."   Worrisome times laced with prayers.   The world seems like a scary place lately. Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
