A Painting a Day


Just a quick note. Finished this beauty up yesterday afternoon before teaching. It was fun and it is a free handle on the wide paintbrush. It was a JOY to create! This picture does not do it justice!

I am off to the airport to pick up our eldest flying in from Long Island. He is journeying to see his dad in the VA hospital in Houston. The Dad is recovering from a quad bypass. Makes me not want to eat fried chicken any more.

My prayers for you are blessing that flow from the love of God within my heart.

We lost another dear family member this week. She has celebrated her 'continuation' day and is now with her mom and dad and her other cousins.  She leaves behind a family that will always celebrate her gentleness.  My aunt was special to all of us. She loved each of us dearly for who we were and was always ready with a hug or a 'good job'.    My memories are of breakfast pastries smeared with butter on top. It was not like they were not sweet enough as they were, but at her small kitch...
