A Painting a Day

Good MONDAY morning! WE are up and it is only seven in the morning. Today the chimney man is coming out. We are considering a stove insert into our fireplace to heat our home. Today is also wrapping and shipping day for me as well and Terry and I are dragging in the boxes and the bubble wrap to mail out about 10 paintings today. We are eagerly awaiting a handy tool from Andy Whitehead to help with boxing in the future. It will reduce my need for bubble wrap and hopefully save my buyers some money for shipping.

The painting I have posted is a small beauty. Painted on smoothly sanded masonite, the colors are true and vivid in person. It is the perfect little painting to fit a niche in the home or to really frame with a wide gold frame and dress up a study or den. Currently it is on auction for this week. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?
