Rain, we might actually have rain today! I am going to gen around the studio and clean up a bit and then paint today. This is one I just finished. It is Holbein Duo Oils on Masonite board. Very bright and very thick with paint. The paint is sooo thick I had a hard time photographing the painting.

Hope everyone has a safe weekend and enjoys the extra day off, well some of you get it, I don't, and my husband doesn't! Enjoy it for us.

We lost another dear family member this week. She has celebrated her 'continuation' day and is now with her mom and dad and her other cousins.  She leaves behind a family that will always celebrate her gentleness.  My aunt was special to all of us. She loved each of us dearly for who we were and was always ready with a hug or a 'good job'.    My memories are of breakfast pastries smeared with butter on top.
