Laurie Pace - Fine Artist

A good friend, Larilyn, is always asking when I will do an Appaloosa. I wrote her when I finished this and sent her a jpeg! This appy emerged so gracefully and very dimensionally from the canvas as I painted. Gentle colors blending from the horse into the background. It was magical as it painted and as always, when working, a pleasure as I have to solve and evolve in the piece as it progresses.

Hope your Sunday is good! We actually had RAIN last night. Twenty minutes of rain! It has been months and our drought continues... please send some to Texas if you can.

I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years? You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years.
