Wallace Stevens Our 'Golden Pond' is in east Texas. Some of the inhabitants were there almost year round and these three were my buddies! They are actually on the pond in the back yard between us and the lake.  Terry and I spent hours walking around our cove and peninsula on the lake. We would always take a morning walk about seven and then again about five. We loved to sit outside every evening and watch the sunset.  "What am I to do? I expect to pass through this world...
