“There's no shame in fear. But understand this - the coward is ruled by fear, while the hero rides it like a wild stallion.” ― David Gemmell, Dark Moon
The name of this painting is Wild Stallion... and yes it was painted back in 2010. I am stuck in a folder there and want to share what I can from it! I truly have been painting in the studio, but sometimes I blog ahead do to commitments.
Be a hero today. Live this day like a proud brave wild stallion. In the Bible there are numerous statements about being BOLD and sharing God's word. As you live this day BOLD, do so in His name and see if your confidence is not boosted by the boldness. I actually tried it this morning as I hurried into the grocery store to grab bananas and grapes. Terry was in the car with Noah crying and both were unhappy; I had to double step my time. As I approached the doors I said a quick prayer, left all hurry nervousness outside and went in boldly to do my mission. Along the way I engaged a few shoppers with a big warm smile and exchanged quite a few Good Mornings as I went.
Sure this was simple...but it was amazing letting Him work through me. Actions count!
"Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold" 2 Corinthians 3:12
