Mak is here painting for the week. Sunflowers tonight.
The Painting: Fun with colors again and this one zings. The free looseness of color and brush ring out expressively.
The Thought: I remember in childhood days for running free or riding my bike as hard as I could, feeling free and able to race the wind. Then there was the day I was in my head in that "free" zone that I literally ran my bike into a parked car bumper from the bike side. I bounced off pretty darn hard a bit dazed. My front fender was bent on my bike and my knee had jammed tightly, but I was able to jump back on and ride the rest of the way home.
I think we get there in life too. We are cruising along feeling like the top of the world and WHAM...something happens that throws us into a tail spin. You never can predict these things. When things are really going good sometimes you don't want to talk about it because you might jinx it.
The best thing to do is to remember the plan is already in motion and what is to be will be. Live today and this moment doing the absolute best you can. Don't worry about the pitfalls and the blows from out of the blue, because God will be there with you every step of the way.
He already knows what is ahead of you, so trust. Trust in His plan and do it His way. I still ride a bike!

“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”- 2 Peter 1:5-8
