The day is upon me and it is just before six a.m. Terry left about twenty minutes ago and I have been doing my morning computer work of answering emails and doing this blog. After that it is a busy day of PAINTING and CLEANING the house...which is very dusty.

Today is not only the day that the Lord hath made, which I rejoice in, but TODAY is also another important day.

I know if you read my blog you know about the magic pillows, the oxygen pillows from Sovn. Terry's snoring has almost totally disappeared and sleep is a sure thing on these babies...well today between 12 and 2 the mattress arrives. This has been a long time to wait as they built it for us. We bought it June 10th and this is what July 25th? I had expected before we left for Jackson, but TODAY the bed arrives. More details tomorrow on that. I am so afraid of being disappointed. Buying a bed is a huge thing as well as a huge investment. We are suppose to spend more time in bed than I do, but I hope to get things settled and try and sleep later. You know that is happening when it is after seven thirty when I blog instead of six a.m. WAIT and WATCH for tomorrow's posting.

Well, Terry has made it through two days of double shifts. He left each morning at 5:45 and returned home at 11:30 pm just to grab five hours of sleep and head back and do it again. Today he will work a normal 9 hour day, but the will have six days off. At that point we repeats this in reverse of single double double. Saves on gas, but I am not sure his old body could do this often. I reserve comments on this too until a later date.

Have you ever had one of those DAWNING MOMENTS? I was sitting at the doctor's office with mom yesterday while she was having her blood drawn. I had my book out (have book will travel) and was reading and suddenly felt someone securely holding on to my right arm about midway up toward my shoulder. It was a firm touch. I pulled my mind out of book and realized no one was sitting on the bench with me. I closed the book and listened and felt a movement around me and a settling of calm in my spirit. My body relaxed and felt totally renewed. With this came knowledge that I literally cannot explain, but a sense of peace. I sat there embracing and drinking in this unbelievable happening. My days have been frantically full of life on the edge. I know the Lord was there with me and I know he was providing that respite for my body and my mind.

Later yesterday I found a gift in my email from another artist that I am just getting to know but have never physically met her or spoken with. She was reaching out to me during this journey with my parents to ground me back to what was important at this moment in my life. I believe her to be an angel sent with a message.... and one that I printed out to reread when the darkest moments creep in. The caring circle that surrounds us all is full of this healing spirit.

I wish you peace today. I pray for you to have the blessings of his quieting spirit to fill your mind and body. Center yourself in Him and pray, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you."

"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."--Philippians 4:7

I often wonder how you do all that you do each and every day, plus being a wonderful artist and teacher. God lives within you and speaks loud and clear through YOU!
You inspire me everyday as I follow your trials and tribulations and yet you are still strong in your faith. I also pray that he will give you peace today and a restful sleep tonight! :~)
