It almost feels like Summer is still here. The highs are in the mid to high eighties. At least the nights cool off. I am way overdo waiting for winter to be here. I will have another warm birthday this year and that is weird to have it so warm outside in November for so long.

I used a different color palette on the painting I posted today. I am stepping out of the box a bit with it. Those of you that have my horses, let me know what you think.

I have been sad lately after the trip to Bonham to see Dad. I feel like someone let all the air out of my tire. It is unusual for me to be down as I am usually more on the up side. What does one do when they are in this position? My dad would say, just fake it. My grandmother was told me happiness would elude me if I looked for was something that crept into your life when you do for others. I think she warped me there because I am the over achiever when doing this, to the detriment of my own being.

Heck, when you want pizza, you order out and they bring it to you. Wouldn't it be great if you could order out for happiness or joy? Did you realize you can do this? Send out for it right now. God will be the delivery man. You don't have to be in despair and moan about things, order it up right now and know you are worthy of it and you will recieve it. Happiness is an attitude that is contagious, so even if you are not happy at this moment, take the message from my Dad and FAKE IT. You will be surprised but it will turn your day around and probably do good things for those around you.

"To the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind." Ecclesiastes 2:25-26
