Sasha, his puppy is really cute, but a total pain as she is not house broken. I have been keeping her in the garden room because if my dogs see her they want to eat her. She already ripped up the screen door to the garden room. We have a life time warranty on this, so I will call them. We opened the package and it was an ABSOLUTELY STUNNING piece of metal works from Nevada, but we do not know who sent it to us. Terry left but his face was really green. We went out and ate for Justin's birthday last night and Justin, Terry and Morgan all ate VEAL CHOPS. Personally I do not eat much beef. Especially when I do not know where it came from. I won't eat baby Cow at all. An occasional hamburger is okay and when there is steak, I eat about six bites but that is it. I guess there are about four layers of paint. Today I will add at least five more layers of varnish to the top. This has been a mission with me to try different things for expression. I have a question and I am sure I will get various answers and probably many of them. What would be your feelings if I used old bibles that are basically in tatters. No spine left, pages deteriorating etc...I am giving thought to using them in a piece of art that would last hopefully another century or more. Unfortunately for many of us living in the DFW area this is common for this time of the year. The ozone levels are level RED which is really really bad. Terry and I were out in it yesterday. We went to Cavanaugh's Flight Museum in Addison. (north Dallas) Sun and wind proved to leave me in bad shape so today will be a dull ache day. Before the Museum we had lunch at Margiano's where Morgan works. The Halibut was fabulous and something I wish they would carry on the main menu. WOW! John and Marnie Stange are UNBELIEVABLE folks. If you live in the Austin or San Antonio area, or even Waco, Temple, Dallas or Houston...it is worth the drive to see this fabulous shop. I thought no gallery could top the incredible feeling of creativity, beauty and fullness of Earth Works in New York, but Patina does this.
