It's about learning to dance in the rain.” ― Sherrilyn Kenyon, Acheron Terry and I are doing a Bible Study called The Armor of God.  We are but a few days into it and amazed at the change in our thinking patterns.  Sometimes in life each day brings about storm after storm and challenges by the gizzilions.  How do you face them? We are studying Ephesians and there is much there that we realized we have read a hundred times, but have not read it.  Learning to dance in the storm is part of it all.  List

Was gifted to a friend in Detroit who suddenly passed away a year ago... and absolutely no one there knows what happened to the contents of her home.  It was professionally framed and I would love to know where it is.  Guess it is a lost path I seek. Happens in life all the time... our memory captures something and does not quite remember it as it truly was.  SO if I do not get a decent shot of a painting, the reality of what it was changes for me.  It is all an amazing process! I use to be, but not any longer. So on the painting I have begun to fill in color layers in oil on top of what was there. This will be  a process that went over about three weeks.

You can make it a party or a tragedy.” ― Nora Roberts, Vision in White Niki lived this in life and in death.  I met her in 2003 over the internet and she was contacting me about learning to paint.  We had a deep connection as we shared long two hour conversations daily. She was grieving the death of her partner and really reaching out trying to find something to take her mind off her pain and loss.  She did paint for about two years but fell into raising and showing Newfoundland Dogs.
