I am late posting today and probably will miss posting tomorrow...but you never know. Much is happening and we are in and out of Dallas.   Today is another bruiser day of 105 degrees outside. I breaks records all the way back to 1930 they say.  Never been this hot this long and I think it puts our area way over 80 plus days of 100 plus temperatures.  A small cool front is due through for a bit more relief. I had jumped in with cooler weather and started walking up to four or five miles and I obviously injured my body doing it too quickly...so as the cooler weather does come, go easy as you begin walking again if you are in Texas. I have heard it my entire life. When someone says it enough it begins to creep into your every day life.  Literally throw up your hands when you are frustrated and let go and let God. Terry and I debated if we could chose just rain or cooler temps what would it be...and we both said rain.  God didn't agree so He sent cooler temperatures. It was the perfect morning for an early walk. When cold fronts come through the sky is very blue . His gentle touch of wispy clouds gave the feeling of lightness  as they floated in the early morning sky.  Within in hours we saw a hurricane to our eastern state and knew a cold front was coming our way. It meant no rain for us, but we will enjoy the cool mornings this week.  We watched as the rain disappeared off the radar...only 70 miles from us...close but not close enough.
