Spirit With Us, Three Arabian Horses Painting by A Texas Artist Laurie Pace

Spirit With Us by a Texas Artist Laurie Pace SOLD 30 x 40 inches Oil on Canvas   The couple from the UK prayed about the name of the painting. They based it on the Trinity in a sense, but thinking of a marriage where two become together as one, Keith reflected as God at the top of the triangle and he and his wife the bottom two points. As you reduce the size of the triangle... all comes together closer as one.  He also mentioned the white Arabian symbolized purity in the Holy Spirit and the two brown Arabians were representative of he and his wife and their state of uncleanness, still working to become closer to the Father.  ©Laurie Pace    Graphics One Design 1998-2012  Contact me for your own commissioned painting or to purchase this piece: Laurie      The Linen Cloth The linen cloth tied round his waist to catch the filth from my journey's haste, He knelt before me basin at his side - Water mixed with tears as he knew what I would hide. He had seen the blog and called to catch up.  I asked him where exactly he was going with the rock as he had ended up his sermon yesterday and Terry and I both somehow missed his last tie in. He said it was referring to Jesus knowing Peter would be the "Rock" the church was built upon.       Jesus knew

Progression on Three Arabians 30 x 40 inches Oil on Canvas   The journey continues as I paint... three Arabian horses which is SOLD and will live in the UK with a new collector.   This couple has been a delight to work with and the music I paint by, chosen by them, is some of my favorite as well.  I have been reading in Psalms through out this past week but am into Luke this week as you can read about below.  Follow along in the Spirit of the Paint... ©Laurie Pace    Graphics One Design 1998-2012  Contact me for your own commissioned painting or to purchase this piece: Laurie      Stones of the Heart Weeping tears  wash the dirt from rock but not from my heart. Silent thoughts scream with echoes of memories past piling beyond the limits of  my mind. Can I climb the pile to the highest point to see through eyes of grace? Only through the giving of grace can I clean my  heart of hurt. This morning he gave me a s

Cypress Watering Hole Horse Painting by Texas Artist Laurie Pace

Cypress Watering Hole 18 x 27 Acrylic on Canvas Dovey McLeod Gallery Houston, Texas  I promised Dovey some large more concentrated work. She contacted me to carry things at her Houston Gallery and I only had a few things here to send. This is one I did in Acrylic (So I could ship it on Wednesday) to the gallery for a show tonight.  If you live in the Houston area, please go by and visit the gallery Friday night... there is a pretty good party going on.  I know I have not been faithful posting the past week. I am mending from a neck injury and that halted painting and computer time. Things are beginning to heal and I can make most of the day before the pain hits in the late afternoons. I am so thankful to my husband for his tender care right now and all his cooking, house cleaning and laundry completion! ©Laurie Pace    Graphics One Design 1998-2012  Contact me for your own commissioned painting or to purchase this piece: Laurie   Make sure you stop by www.cfai.co

After the composition is chosen, then I will do a more defined sketch of each horse for the composition.   ©Laurie Pace    Graphics One Design 1998-2012  Contact me for your own commissioned painting: Laurie      Everything You Took From Me I was reading the  newest issue of AARP  (they start sending it to you when you turn fifty) and was deep into the article on Sharon Stone.  I shoved the magazine in front of Terry and he said,  "Wow she looks better today than back then."   "everything you took from me..." How did she get there? "everything you took from me..." It is an incredible article  that covers a journey in her personal life.  A prayer shared with her by a close friend kept her sane and kept her focused on Him. "Thank you, God, for e

We have the free spirit to speak words that uplift or tear down. While positive words encourage positive growth in ourselves and in others, negative words, finger pointing and judgements only lead to destroy others. We are free to think as we please and we have the power to control our thoughts. We have choice and with it spiritual freedom. If something occurs where your freedom seems limited, time to look higher. Nothing or no one can hold you in bondage. You are not controlled by others. You are only controlled by your own limited thinking. (remember those squirrels running in circles?) And Jesus said, "Come to the water, stand by My side, I know you are thirsty, you
