Still on the cold side in Dallas. For me it is time to let go of the old thoughts and 'conditions' I place on myself and let God direct my life.  Putting the daily 'feelings' out there has truly helped. In letting go of old thoughts and habits, I feel a beautiful peace filling me. I take a huge deep breath and release it all at one time any my body relaxes.  I pray to God my thoughts, words and actions will be filled with what is good and desirable to pass on the beauty of this peace t

At home we are often off into our 'things'...me painting or blogging, him doing 'honey dos' around the house. I usually like going to HD. It is just a few miles and always a bustling busy store. Like any other trip, we parked in the lot a few rows from the loading doors by the wo

Others seem to empty us of energy and life itself.  Mother and I talked about that the other night. Back in the day... let's say at least twenty years ago and going back... people were different than they are today. Yeah yeah... everyone today is on a schedule and has an agenda list. Sharing is encouraged today as well as constant praising. Look at facebook and twitter. We cannot do anything without sharing what we are doing. We are needy people and very m

It must be rubbing off.  He came in late last night before bed and sat on the couch in the bedroom and said, "You know I really love you. I do

There is always another one to find. Being in tune with life and the people around you is essential for contentment.  God has to be part of the equation. Be open to his wisdom and guidance and He will bless you with new ideas. We all welcome those 'aha' moments when the dawning comes to us through a new idea. That is pure God working

Horse 99 is literally four shades of blue and white and came out very pretty and delicate. As you greet this new year I want to pick back up on my idea to replace those resolutions that never seem to work.  Take the pressure off.  Take out some index cards and a pen or pencil and write a 'desire of your heart' down on each of them. Does not matter if you do one or ten, just do it.  Back in 1999 I filled out 15 cards. I was challenge

Immediately I began to move the surface with Indian Yellow and White... and using Mauve, I began to create a horse with my knife.  I love this little gem! Hope you do to. It needs a heart home to move to. When I do some of this little collectible, they are a pure reflection of the spirit of Love.  There are many types of love, love of family, love of friend, love of the sensual nature and the love of God.  I can tell which a

Lets do FOOD now: The day before Christmas Lady L and I embarked on a baking journey. First we made Sugar Cookies. Using the recipe of a girl scout
