And we did make so many! For there were countless numbers of stars: each time we looked above we were astounded by the swiftness of their daring play, while in our hearts we felt safe and secure watching these brilliant bodies disintegrate, knowing somehow we had survived their fall.” ― Rainer Maria Rilke This is an older painting from 2013 that sold pretty quickly after I painted it. Happens to all of us.  Still not a big champion of yellow, but suddenly I am thinking muted reds, blues, greens and greys.  I believe my next sunset

Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring Monday words and both are so full of study and heart. "All that is gold does not glitter."  I says it all doesn't it? I want to do with you what spring does with the cherry trees.” ― Pablo Neruda Springs of water are important to us today as much as they were to the people living in Israel 2500 years ago. Both God and the Gospel will compare springs of living water to be life giving refreshing qualities.  I am drawn that direction when I think of Winter thawing out and the season of Spring arriving and all the blooming of the world with the gentle sun and the flowing springs of
