" As an adult with a passion for horses, I always dreamed of a stallion running across the field in the starlight.  As far as " I wish I may, I wish I might have my dream come true tonight... " I would love to be bareback on that beautiful horse racing against the wind under Texas stars!   I would love to know what you dream about. Herd mentality is basically following the herd... and truly that is not following the path God intends for you .  God wants each of us to find contentment . That is NOT following along what other people are saying or doing. God wants us to use our individual gifts to serve him.   That is NOT following along with a herd. Family gatherings were the main stay, along with great food, laughter and love.  My mom went the over the limit with thick linen table cloths, fresh flowers, a huge menu of German delights and pies of every flavor. Between my two brothers and Terry and me, our children and later grandchildren, the numbers grew each year!  Do you have great memories of Thanksgiving? I decided to grab my ipad and listen to Pastor Morris' message from Saturday Church at Gateway, Southlake, Texas.  I do believe his sermon was meant to stir us into preparing our heart for what was ahead, both for advent as well as the situations growing violent throu

If you have not read it, it was about a young peasant girl that was adopted and in her life she was very vain. She had an old pair of red shoes as a foster child that she loved so much, she had her new foster mother buy her a new pair of red shoes. They were elegant and fit for a princess. Sadly the young girl was so attached to them she would not take them off.  Along the way to church one day a mysterious older man, a soldier with a red beard

Normally it would be birthday month but our choices of doing things is slim with the Covid running rampant again. A large box arrived this morning and I will be unpacking it shortly! Meanwhile the painting above is entitled 'Seasons'.  This is a painting that has gone through four transitions to get to this point.  Even when I went to bed last night, I was debating destroying the canvas entirely.  The journey was that challenging.  This morning... everything changed.
