His love is infinite and unconditional.  If we stray from the path, He will call to us for us to find our way back to Him.  Even in the times you cannot see to find Him, He does not fai

Putting first things first we start our day with a list a mile long of people to see, things to do and places to go.   To reach this point of peace, we need to start the day with God giving thanksgiving for all He has provided and  asking for guidance for the day.  This small moment puts you connected with him and recharges yo

Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Pigs treat us as equals.” ― Winston S. Churchill There is so much going on inside of our home I am not sure how to share it. I started this wonderful bible study called  The Armor of God .  It is by Priscilla Shirer.  The days are different, our thoughts are focused and I am hoping we can keep these changes in our lives. I have not been this relaxed since college days.  I am just on the beginning edges of realizing how to let go and really let God.  I am sure we will be tested along the way, but

Baruch Some day you feel really free and full of life and this is what happens!  It is like being a wellspring of joy.  When an artist paints, the spirit flows freely.  The artist draws on the joy from within and allows it to spill onto the canvas.  That is why I refer to the Spirit of the Paint! We are meant for joy. We are meant to be happy.  Most of us are joyous by nature. Our joy does not depend on others, only ourselves. We have th

Kindness in another's trouble, Courage in your own."  ―  Adam Lindsay Gordon This reminded me of how we tend to fill our pockets with problems all the time. If we could just learn to let the problem bubble just float by us... we would have more thoughts free of worry. This was the underlay to a horse painting but I wanted to paint something different.  I am doing that right now... in my studio, working on some little piggies and a bride.  Contrast and freedom as I work...    He replied

He longed to shut out the immensity in a quiet room by a fire.” ― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings Wouldn't it be something to live on the mountain top... above all the sea of humanity and the drama of mankind?  We cannot live isolated on a mountain top.  We were created to be part of a greater existence.   Some days this 'greater existence' begins to

Hopefully this beautiful horse remains untouched by change.  I hesitated to use this quote... but dang... the truth hurts doesn't it?  This is not the America I was born and raised in. Times change,

It's about learning to dance in the rain.” ― Sherrilyn Kenyon, Acheron Terry and I are doing a Bible Study called The Armor of God.  We are but a few days into it and amazed at the change in our thinking patterns.  Sometimes in life each day brings about storm after storm and challenges by the gizzilions.  How do you face them? We are studying Ephesians and there is much there that we realized we have read a hundred times, but have not read it.  Learning to dance in the storm is part of it all.  List
