She is an Alabama Artists. The fine for copyright infringement in the USA is $250,000.   Tell me how you would feel as an artist to find your ORIGINAL ARTWORK on someone else's blog and you can see where they faked the signature in black in photoshop on the image. Yes my friends, this is totally irritating.  My work is original.  I am not honored by such actions, I am angered by them. I am totally sorry for this young woman that she has to stoop so lo

We found all my oils and acrylics.  The Thought:  Today as I did my dinner dishes at the kitchen sink I watched the large yellowy orange orb outside my window sink into the cool waters of Lake Cypress Springs. It was beautiful. Breathlessly beautiful. I ran for the camera but it was further down by the time I found it and whipped it out. I will post pictures tomorrow after TP gets my  big computer hooked up.   We bought the needed supplies to put shelves in the room where I will do computering as compared to the room I paint in.   So much change and I still am reeling in boxes.  Life here is at a slow tempo.  So far everyone is very nice and so helpful.  Our daughter starts school tomorro

If I have found internet there will be precious thought from me, and if not you will be reading these words and knowing by now things are not going well. I am logging in quickly with an update...as the above was written this weekend on Easter Sunday before they took apart my big MAC computer.  Terry hopes to have me back online tomorrow.  I hope to paint something tomorrow too...so maybe I can post something new! Kitchen is unpacked 50%.  Bedroom is only at 25%. I keep looking for my boxes of clothes and we figured out all of mine are in Sheriff Fletchers Barn.  Have to go visit them.  The seasons are changing here.  Spring is leading to warmer days.   Leah is totally unpacked of course. Will try to get some snap shots.

The Basket she is holding is the basket I used my entire life form age 2ish on.  We filled it with new grass, Easter Candy and a new electric toothbrush. They laughed at me at Walgreens last night. At church Leah helped with the placing of Flowers on the Cross and really enjoyed her new friends.       The Painting:  I was painting with a new young art friend when I did this piece.  Just finally took pictures and named it yesterday. It is at the gallery for the show coming up and priced very reasonably. The Thought: Not much but tired tired tired.   The house is 98% packed.. the garage is at 60%. This is a day that we will be a day with family and only a bit of final packing up.  Church in a few moments with my mom for sunrise service and breakfast..then late lunch with Terry's family.  Then home to pack the rest. The Thought:  Boxes surround us.  We are staying the course and fighting the battle of time.  Terry spent three hours partially grooming dogs and realized his scissors were packed.   I think it is avoidance disorder. He does not want to face the garage and he has only 48 hours left and the movers will be here.  I finished up the kitchen. I need to order one more group of Book Boxes and some more for the garage that he has not even started.  Won't know how many to get because he has not started. He is a sweetheart.  He told me three days ago I had not seen him in action and he was going to be so organized I would not recognize him.  Hon

We are packing packing packing and the paints were packed today. The Thought: I was reading something on Productivity .  Is there productivity in your life? Every business is into profit and earnings.  We constantly measure productivity even in our personal lives. How much equity has the house earned or lost in the past two years?  How many 'A's" on the child's report card? How many things do we cross off our today list?  Productivity is good to a point in our lives as it helps us evaluate our performance and achievements.  The bible defines it not only in terms of numbers but by relationships and our character.  The most important thing is the bottom line of our character.  Are you producing "good fruit" in your life? Could you do more to produce "

The Thought: Do you have creativity in your life? How do you define creativity? It is basically a fashioning or shaping or conceiving or something unique. Usually as we are creating, we become absorbed into what we are fashioning. There is a delicate balance of being and becoming as you create. Usually when I paint, it has a satisfying feeling and a joy that is unexplainable.   We like being creative. Of course God is the best example of creativity.  Look how diverse He was as he created the world and all within.  I think He definitely had a sense of humor as well. God continues to redefine and recreate us every single day.  The transformations we make are all part of His creative plan.  When the Holy

The Thought: When I was painting this piece, I was thinking of how horses often blend into their environment.  Horses are either at peace, or they are rather hyper and on the move. Here in Texas it is common for them to be part of the landscape rather than on the landscape. This is true of the nature of God with in us. He is indwelling and filling us with peace and serenity. He is woven through out our being.  We are often unaware of the true peaceful state of our souls when we are constantly pushing through the day creating our own chaos.  I believe in meditation and finding that quiet time of reflection and just being... totally just being. The Painting: Just about finished!  I started this painting this past weekend and worked on it on and off on Saturday and Sunday and then finished it this afternoon. The Thought: I have been reading from the book I began last week about living in the NOW to Terry.  It sounds simplistic but of course is not.  The more we share in the book we discuss the reality of how much we truly allow the past and future to control our now.  When you live in the now you are embracing God's choices for you and knowing these are right choices despite how you perceive the situation.  Our perception is always shadowed by the past an
