There is not one person that knew Nikki Hardin and had anything but love for her. She worked closely with the Tourette Syndrome group here in the United States and she championed and raised funds for them. She had her own group she mentored called the Sunshine Group.  I am not sure if it is still even functioning.  I was left with

I am painting but only on one painting of a cowboy that I graduated from High School with. It is realism and dang, it takes 100 hours to paint a 16 x 20 where as in abstract painting it would be 5-8 hours. Frida painted every emotion but thrived with the pain and suffering she endured in her relationships and in life. I have been traveling to Chicago and back and busy and simply not stopping by to share work or a even a thought. I was prepared to share more about my contemplations and my decision- but another challenge brought me to a full halt in life. Just when you believe you have made a decision you have prayed over for almost a year, something else rears up and knocks you backwards.
