You always wonder where a painting lands if it is moved. This one was 'taken' but I never understood how someone 'lifts' a painting from a gallery wall.   That was a gallery in Santa Fe New Mexico and I believe who ever has it hanging in their home did not know it was stolen and sold to get to them.  STOLEN  If by chance you see this blog and it is your painting, please reach out on my website, CONTACT ME    I will provide you a certificate of authenticity and put my heart at rest over where my two black horses are living. I have been selling my work over 24 years now, starting with friends and then ebay, and then in galleries across the United States from Jackson Hole, Park City, La Jolla,

Christmas is less than five days away... the 21st is just 9 hours away. I am working on feeling better faster!!!  I actually slept almost 9 hours last night and I am feeling closer to 85-90 percent better.  I must tell you ZICAM works as does Sambulcol Flu and Cold. Totally surprised.  Christmas is the time for Gathering and that is why I chose this painting to share today, from 2007.     I painted about four in this serious. I am pretty sure if I painted today, I would not have left a large white rear end in the top center of the painting...but it did not last longer than 24 hours on my website.   🤪 My mind has been mulling over using some raw canvas in the closet and cutting off a hunk of it for experimenting.   I want to gesso it at least twice or

"Misery.. winter cold hit and I am in the thick of it!... not just cold air but a head cold.  The cold air hits in about 36 hours and it keeps dropping.  I did see my doctor today and it is not in my chest...thankfully! I had an allergic reaction to something last Wednesday and have been battling that and Suddenly this morning, I have a blooming head cold!  Stay healthy and eat healthy... I am going to work hard to be well by Christmas Eve. Excuse me... I am sneezing! Traversing New Lands I have always believed an artist that stagnated was not growing if their work was not deepening. The end work is not as important as the journey.  We know it when we come to it face to face.  I had to criss cross several paintings I had up over the past two we

"Suddenly about ten yesterday morning, the storms had blown through and I picked up an empty canvas and started painting this soft precious group of iris. It would be rich in a frame that brought out the delicate beauty.  There was no pre thought which was not good... I worked on it about 7 hours. Enjoy the day today...  "   Delicate Beauty The definition of Delicate Beauty is " 1. exquisite, fine, or subtle in quality, character, construction, etc. 2 having a soft or fragile beauty. 3 (of colour, tone, taste, etc.) pleasantly subtle, soft, or faint. When I think of delicate beauty, my mind envisions our family and our Father God.  He created each of us uniquely to be who we are with certain gifts he bestowed to each of us, as well

"I had this piece finished, I thought...but it was not until this morning. Following His guide on this right now. This one was up to sell but not complete. Tornadoes, high sheer winds and lots of rain became the story. Watching these strong cold fronts barrel in from the north west meeting the warm southern air we have had the past week (
