This baby was wild fun! Started out stately and a jumper horse and the colors were basically blues, oranges and greens.  I ended up accenting in reds. The paint is ever so thick!  Will take a bit to dry, but grab it now if it calls to you!  I am not sure my brain can blog and paint and list at the same time!  I am usually good about subjects and sharing. Think for now I will keep it to the wild paints!! Carrots... the breakfast of Champion Horses! Really did look around for something 'cheesy or carroty' cute to put in this blog. We are into January and I am slowly getting into a painting cycle again. BUT blogging... that takes more than most things.  Carrots in our family are loved and beloved. Our adult children all eat carrots both raw and cooked.  Why? Because they learned to eat what was put on the table and did not complain. Exceptions:  Oldest cannot eat cold eggs.  Middle child cannot tolerate mashed potatoes or corn.  Youngest child, he was breast feed until he was 18 months old.  Yes he had food about 10 months old but he never complained about anything. Last summer I took a portion of a painting course from Nancy Medina, a long time friend. I was trying to break the barrier of Acrylic paints for future pieces.  There were six photos to paint with her but I only did this one.  I changed up my composition and colors and still kept the flowers because of the technique she was teaching.  This painting is stunning in person. I cannot figure out how to work something on the new platform of my website.  I have been mucking around with it all morning. I will get there! I have been taking css writing courses to use with Squarespace. I design websites there and they are affordable.  I truly felt compelled to build at reasonable prices for 5-8 pages and a commerce site included (But not loading all your products) for $800-1000 instead of the going rate of $8000 to $15000.  I have been a designer for Squarespace sites since 2014.  I am probably the oldest designer in their design circle, but they put up with me!!  Have a great weekend ahead!  I will take a break from painting for a few days.  “ For we know that our old self was c
