Cued in with yellow to make a soft green and accents of orange, red and yellow bring together a happy composition balanced with emotion in the contemporary Horse Painting, part of my summer herd 2013. Dear friends,  do not believe every spirit,  but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.   This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh  is from God,   but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist,  wh

15 JUMP Summer Herd 2013 Contemporary Horse Paintings by Texas Artist Laurie Pace

© G.O.D. Laurie Justus Pace      Graphics One Design 2013 15 JUMP Summer Herd 2013 5 x 7 inches Oil on Canvas Board  Beginning with the mauve purple color, I again moved from corner to corner complimenting one side with Red and the choosing something NOT expected...white running into the mauve.  There was an area between the red and mauve and that became Orange. I flipped the canvas around several times before I knew where I was with this contemporary horse painting. Click Here to purchase if still available. Do not love the world or anything in the world.  If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.   For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh,  the lust of the eyes,  and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.   The world and its desires pass away,  but whoever does the will of God  lives forever.  1 John 2:15-17 Laurie Pace A Texas Artist Pace Studio  Graphics One Design

Stretching and Reaching out to arrive. Click here to purchase this horse painting if available . Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!   Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.     Do not be anxious about anything,  but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.   And the peace of God,  which transcends all understanding,  will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Maybe people can be described by color as well. I know your mood varies, but what color are you as a person?  I have been a violet/purple most of my life, but recently have leaned into the deep dark rich reds. God is good filling us with the 'colors' we need for the day. Join together in following my example,  brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do.

Racing the Night Summer Herd 11 Contemporary Horse Paintings by Texas Artist Laurie Pace

© G.O.D. Laurie Justus Pace      Graphics One Design 2013 Summer Herd 2013  Racing the Night #11  8 x 10 inches Oil on Canvas.  So many of my little herd have sold already this summer, so I decided to do a few more.  This contemporary Horse Painting is number 11 in the summer herd series of 2013. The palette knife paint is a bit thicker than many of these little ones, but I got carried away. Notice how we do that in life? We get carried away with things.  We always are thinking about what would make us happy and things to please ourselves. We seem to forget that God knows what best would please us.  He know the secrets in our hearts and the desires we keep hidden from others. At the same time He probably chuckles because we really do not know what is best for us.  Just like a Dad with his precious child.  It is so easy as a parent to know what your child needs. They are hungry and they want a cookie… but you know they are hungry and they nee

I started watching some older shows on Netflix because there really is not much on all the cable we pay for that is not full of gun shooting, murder, vampires, and movies filled with panic and bad things happening.   I thought I was safe as I watched reruns of Ally McBeal and Brothers and Sisters.
