In Awe    20 x 30 inches Oil on Canvas SOLD This equine painting was done in 2010 and it sold with in two weeks of completion.  I love the energy and the colors that explode behind the horse in the painting and the powerful strength in the horse. Sitting outside on the deck swing this morning I closed my eyes and emptied my mind feeling the breath of God around me in the strong early morning southern breeze. Anticipation is of gulf moisture bringing possible rain tomorrow. The trees blow caressed by  His early sunrise breeze, they are waiting. What is it they can do? Nothing, they simply wait and feel the wind touching through their branches and leaves. Waiting grounded in the earth by their deep

We are often too busy for God. Or we think we are too good and do not need His grace. It is only when your heart is open to His saving race can you have a true relationship with God. His saving grace for us become His sanctifying grace. We grow both in His grace as well as with His grace. Growing in love following Him brings peace to life. God's grace covers us through our trials and hardships guiding by His light from our darkest places.  CLICK here to read more... My Blog    My Website     Giclees on Canvas, Print

As an artist/mom I would make sure the plate I put before my children was colorful. I had one that would not eat eggs. There was one that would not eat corn or mashed potatoes. Finally there was one that ate everything. Always on the run? Always worried things are catching up to you and you have to run faster. Early morning we start out on a slow pace... Looking around and taking in our surroundings. The sun has broken through with morning light and we are newly awakened to the day. We begin our day and seem to fall right in line behind others, following their path and their way. It may not even be the direction we are suppose to be traveling, but it seems safe, others are doing it too.  We stay sheltered and hidden in the shadows hoping no one will single us out. My brain was not racing but it definitely was not on a straight path of thinking. It was just hitting sunset as I began to pace the floors inside. I escaped outside with my camera. READ MORE HERE&g
