Living in the Dallas Ft Worth area gives us welcome visits with my collectors. I think it is my favorite part of this job. It became part of my clients love story!   This sweet horse painting was a look back at when I met my husband. I was 11 and he was 13 and it was summer of 1964. I would turn 12 a few months later, slightly catching up.  He had turned 13 in July of that year.  Those early teen years were filled with giggles, hand written notes on notebook paper, swimming at friend’s houses… and as always church and family. We had small parties on many weekends once spring of 1966  hit.  I cannot even imagine what this is like in today’s world.  We have lifelong friends from this time and we were all well loved within everyone’s families.  I only had one friend with a wo

I chose to start with one horse when I began, but I knew immediately there would be a second horse. When horses form a relationship, it is usually for life. A horse is intuitive with relationships with the humans in their lives, and I can only imagine how deep their feelings run for a companion horse. "A nd Lo I am  with you all the appointed days - Matt 28:20     This morning I was drawn into the thought and reading of the day with Streams of the Desert. It was reflecting on two words, fear and hope.  What do you live with?  I realized immediately I need to redirect my thoughts to remember God has this and I need to stop trying to deal with things my way. Yes I need to have hope, but this hope is based on all He has accomplished through me in my years here on earth. A fast lived life is often focused on the wrong things.  There is much God has to share each day, but our eyes are on other things. Our thoughts are usually tied up in worries or planning or trying to fix things that are not ours to fix.   The simpleness of releasing the “constructive” confusion in our heads, hearts and lives is hard to grasp. Simply stop the noise and seek God or Jesus.  The Holy Spirit will fill you with what you need!  Wait
