" Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day. " 2 Corinthians 4:16 Stop Trying to figure it all out. Depending on your childhood and your genetic make up, each of us absorbs mannerisms and coping skills from those near and dear to us. My personal experience created me into a person who likes to solve and fix things. I also learned from my mother, to be a caretaker. What about you?  In our home lives growing up, we have hundreds of experiences every day, repeat it through every week, as well as this first years of our lives. this is the foundation of who you are as a person, how you think things out, and how you respond to the people and situations around you.  As you mature, and go out into the world, you have become an established force of natur

Everyone has work or duties each day, and no one has the same work. To you or me, we may think someone else has ‘greater work’ than we do. Created by our Father, we each have our own set of gifts woven straight in our DNA. We each have a part to do, and no one else can do our part…we must do it.  Some have made the commitment to God without holding back, and those have soon found they live contented without any reserve,  for they live abiding with Him and seeking only what He wills, and they desire to do for Him whatever He desires them to do. December is creeping up quickly. Don't forget to shop my Thanks40 for the next three days.  Perfect gift to arrive in time! Celebrate Each Day The past month has brought monumental changes in our lives... especially mine. I lost my closest family member that was 94 years old.  Our days are determined by the Lord, and none of us expected her to live this long and most of the 94 years in good health.  She has had several close calls with death in the last half of her life but rallied through everything.    Her hands were that of a healer... they held us all as babies, as young children, a church friend, a kind neighbor, a hungry teen, our marriages, our babies (grandchildren and great grandchildren), our own hands through brutal times in life... She spent 94 1/2 years wal

Absolutely nothing like a freshly knifed horse painting from my studio. It is a stunning and full of life and color. Some areas are really thickly layered up with color!! Still on sale under $200!!! Yesterday I celebrated my birthday.  It always seems strange as my Dad's birthday here on earth was today. I have only celebrated alone for 11 years and I miss my dad!  SHARING THE JOY There was a reading I studied on Sunday morning early when I woke up yesterday. Messages for the Morning Watch- Studies in Genesis   " Is there anything too hard of Jehovah?" Gen 19:14   Next was the challenge of the day... paraphrased:  God wants you to think of the deepest, highest, worthiest desire and longing of your heart, something which perhaps w

November is my favorite month for everything from fall colors and Thanksgiving ... along with birthdays and family gathers ... AND preparing for Christmas.  This painting is available on my website or at Mirada Fine Art in Denver.  Layers of Color  In each painting that is part of the Faces or SPIRIT series, there is a palette of color chosen specifically for the face I am painting and the mood I am representing.  Fall Colors are all woven into this painting. The sunset is here and the winter blue sky emerging along with the subtly of crisper temperatures. It speaks "NOVEMBER".  The Lord has provided the gift of our seasons and with it He has woven in specific color palettes for us to enjoy the richness of the earth, the sky and the weather.  Humans ha

It swelled up really bad and I was not able to wear shoes. I tried to wear them yesterday.
