The Joy of the Jump Contemporary Art Daily Painting Child and Horse Painting 20 x 20 inches Oil on Canvas COMMISSION for CHRISTMAS SOLD Contact me to do something for your home! Laurie Yesterday I spoke to you about what lies ahead. My daughter is in the hospital at 6 1/2 months into her pregnancy receiving steroid injections to help the baby's lungs develop. She has been having premature labor pains in a pretty intense way over an extended period of time. I am heading there shortly and will spend most of the day with her. I have packed her favorite GIRL movies and I am taking the baby quilt along that I have been working on. I will make some headway at least on that. Please keep them close in prayer as the doctors complete their work and as Stacey stays relaxed through the treatments. We are within the last week of the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Mary was already on that donkey riding toward Bethlehem. Unimproved roads, rocky terrain, switchbacks and no phones to cal
COLD RAINY NIGHT IN DALLAS Contemporary Art Cityscape Rain Daily Painting Art By Morgan and Laurie Pace 18 x 24 inches THICK OIL PAINT SOLD Contact to Purchase: Laurie This is a mother/son painting. He loves working with color as you can see! He also is trying to pay his rent and feed his dog. At least his priorities are good! We worked on this painting together in the studio a few weeks ago. JOY JOY JOY JOY Do you know anyone that does not want joy in their lives? Unless it is Christmas or you read the Oprah magazine there is not much use of the word JOY in our language from day to day. Why does it seem there is not enough joy in our lives? The third candle we light today is the Joy Candle. We add this to Hope and Peace. Yesterday I was with a friend, Deborah, driving across north Texas from visiting Stacey and Larry. We were talking deeply, as we normally do, about life and where we are in life in our fifties. Deborah lost her f

I sold the trees yesterday, they are going to Utah! My dear husband is doing my kitchen cabinets for Christmas! I am so impressed as he is stripping down the wood. He began yesterday and I almost like them natural. We may just varnish them. While he was doing that I cleaned out closets. I might have to take pictures as proof. I have a missing pair of Black leggins I cannot find and it is driving me crazy. So the closets got cleaned out! Also donating the extra to dog rescue and they pick it up th
Sunrise Contemporary Art Daily Painting Horse Palette Knife by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 inches Oil on Canvas SOLD PRIVATE COLLECTION Contact me for your commission work: Laurie Okay so I took heat from my daughter. No she is not lazy in the sense of lazy... she is part of the generation that likes Lean Cuisine and the EASE of using it. I am a control freak that makes 98% of everything from scratch. The only frozen stuff in my freezer is meat from MT Vernon and Sheriff Elect Paul Fletcher and his lovely wife Vicki, some old Klondyke bars, and some frozen corn and peas in bags that we use to treat injuries! On to new things! If you heard the words, LET ME BE THERE . What is your first thought? Let WHOM be where? As a teen in the sixties and seventies I grew up with some truly inspiring music, both good and bad, but of course I loved it all. I played my guitar in church, took it to church camp and also played and performed at an airforce base north of Sherman TX. We could ada
VIOLETS Contemporary Art Watercolor Violet Flower Daily Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 8 x 10 inches on 300 lb watercolor paper. SOLD Contact me for Commission work: Laurie Monday is almost half way over and I am just getting here! NO I did not sleep late. That is wishful thinking. We were up by six thirty this morning and had breakfast together watching the news in the kitchen. Terry is busy boxing 10 pieces heading to The Red Tree Gallery in Atascadero California. She has just about sold out of my work. This takes more time as the pieces are all framed and more precautions have to be taken with boxing. I did this yesterday. Enjoy and be kind. Me, I am doing all the darn bookwork and lists and pricing and COAS etc. More work today, rarely a day off. Although yesterday we made a ran to Asel Art for Canvas for some commission paintings and then stopped by to see some of our oldest friends, Mike and Cindy Davis. They were part of the same high school group with Sheriff Elect Paul
