Milne   Beneath the branches... beneath the bridge... beneath the stars... God's beauty surrounds us. We should instantly be reminded of Him... He surrounds us with His gifts and creation. Sometimes I wonder how I can forget how He is part of me constantly with all the reminders. He is aware of everything that takes place in our lives. He knows our thoughts before they form in our mind. He knows the words before we speak them.

It is time.  Since Thanksgiving, I adjusted my Whole Foods Plant Based diet a little tighter eliminating nuts, olives and avocados.  I am hoping to see a change in my cholesterol, but it has only been 75-80 days, but close to three months.  I have lost 12 more pounds, which was not in the plan necessarily, but I am now at the same weight I was 30 years ago.  Heading to Dr. Lee's office for a b

Always. All the time. That story makes you what you are. We build ourselves out of that story." Patrick Rothfuss I was really looking for a quote on TIME OUT... for the painting... but I came across this one and in so many ways good and bad, I reacted to it.   I think he is right that we all have a story in our head on who we are.  Especially as a teenager and maybe as a young adult. If I really wanted to pray I’ll tell you what I'd do. The one that holds my attention the most was "Take your hands off your life".  Whatever you are facing, juggling, or trying to resolve, stop and take your hands off and disengage your problem solving skills.  How can something so simple be so hard? " True faith is living without scheming. "      In the verse below that has those precious words we have heard thousands of times, BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD...    The Hebrew word translated "be still" actually means "take your hands off."
