SOLD The process above was going from the primed acrylic canvas to find the motion or energy behind the horse for this horse painting. Again this is a similar paint to a horse from last year as a gift of love for someone that loved that original painting. The challenge is always to capture a new spirit with a different approach so you are witnessing a different way to get to the end... second layering of acrylic and then the oils come out on the bottom images... with a palette knife and NO IMPASTO to dilute the paint.  Yes it takes many many more tubes to do this, but the end effect is worth it. Words of my heart....We have all the pieces to put together our lives as God has in His plans for us, no different than this puzzle in progress. Read more Here.
