  ©Laurie Justus Pace                                                     Graphics One Design 2012 Appaloosa in the Wind 24 x 30 Oil on Canvas Available through Mirada Fine Art Email Steve here.  What fun it was painting this new appaloosa painting.  Sometimes you do not want to do the same old same old painting.  I needed to be doing a longhorn but something was tugging at me to approach the canvas in a different way and I did on this painting.  There are three Appys in the composition, along with a lot of color and good shapes and energy. Words of my Heart Last night we were walking across a parking lot from the Verizon store to Staples. It was warm outside still at nightfall but a cool front was due to pass through.  It was still in the low seventies as we went into Staples . Click here to read more. We spent most of the weekend raking leaves.  We have over fifty trees on our lot and when you spend two days raking and when you get up on the third day you discover you have to start all over again. One of my favorite parts is where the author is comparing life to a stream of water flowing down to the ocean.
