Horse Painting in Progress by Texas Artist Laurie Pace

© G.O.D. Laurie Justus Pace      Graphics One Design 2013 Horse Paintings... Not there yet.  32 x 48 inches Oil on Canvas. SOLD  Well maybe by tomorrow a closer to finished painting!  This is exceptionally thick paint and it does have impasto mixed in since we have 'drying time' to consider.  Want to ship it early next week, or Terry and I will be doing a road trip to north of Tulsa Oklahoma. I did some research. Mark's background has Cherokee Indian, and he is from the Wolf Clan.  (I promised wolves later) But, as I researched the Cherokee numbers... looking for a number that was strong for them, it was the number seven. They had seven tribes within their whole. So look for seven horses tomorrow. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. Contemporary Sunset Sailboat Painting by Texas Artist Laurie Pace

© G.O.D. Laurie Justus Pace      Graphics One Design 2013 Gift Painting for  Friend that loves Sailboats 32 x 48 inches Oil on Canvas. SOLD  They both had seen the sunset almost two weeks ago when the first 'cold front' came through Dallas.  It was truly a golden sunset.  Their heart was set on this sailboat painting being a GOLDEN SUNSET.   We combed through many images to make sure I had in my mind what they had in their mind, and I set my palette to include Indian Yellow and Quinacridone Gold as the basis of the Golden Sunset. These are images of the first pulls of paint of Indian Gold with a minimal amount of white to carry it. I want the Indian Gold to react with other colors as they sweep over it.  "This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their

As kids, those card houses never stood long either. I borrowed the cards from another blog. You may click them to visit it. God will continue to work around us and sometimes we end up going places the wrong direction but it is needed to get back to Him. In other words, there are some experiences we are to have to learn who we are. Only then will we discover the direction for our lives. In these wiser years I am beginning to be very hesitant on pushing ahead with any ideas before praying about it.  Best to turn to Him before doing anything. You do not want to build another house of cards. God is needed for the foundation of everything we do. Words of my heart, Laurie A Texas Artist Laurie

Broken cups, broken hearts, torn clothing, baby dolls missing an arm, teddy bears without one eye. Each symbolizing something that has caused a fear or worry to manifest itself within.  Put those things at the foot of that cross.

Healing takes place on many levels in life: Physical, spiritual and psychological. Relationships exist on many levels in life: Physical, spiritual and psychological. There exists you on the outside. The "you" we all see and think we know. The "you" that you allow us to know.  We only seem to share parts of who we are with others. At levels deeper within ourselves there are things we do n

We are often challenged by disease that appears unexpectedly.  Our bodies have a marvelous ability to rebound back and fight off and restore itself against most attacks.  Everything in us is alive and good health is a state we all seek.  It is at times that 'bad health' creeps in that we must keep our thoughts on life and healing and affirming His hand in our lives. If you know someone that is suffering right now from a disease they cannot fight and 'win' on this side of life, time to prayer for healing to rise up and heal them with the life ever after.   Pray for each other. Times are hard and often people

Horse Painting Reflections of Glory by A Texas Artist Laurie Pace

Reflections of Glory 18 x 27 inches Oil on Canvas The Original Horse Painting is SOLD, but prints are available on  Fine Art America. This horse painting was one of my most popular paintings. The original was painted in 2007 and sold the first day I had it on the blog. Contrasting color palette and the reflective water brought intensity and dissonance to what would normally be a quiet moment of a  horse drinking water. ©Laurie Pace    Graphics One Design 1998-2011  Contact me for your own commissioned painting: Laurie   Choices in Life... What do I do now? Making decisions in life is often not only challenging but can be overwhelming as well. Looking back at life there can be questions as to some of those choices. Bad decisions from the past are mistakes we must make amends for within our minds as well as with those that were affected by them. It is not possible to move forward until you can forgive and ask for forgiveness.  How does on
