I ran all day yesterday. Early Morning our power went out as the storm moved in. It was after lunch before it went back on and so my day started late....very late.
We drove into Mt Pleasant and had a hot breakfast at IHOP and then to Lowe's to pick up a few things. Arriving back home just after noon, we had heat again...and lights of course. Until you do with out you cannot appreciate what you have that is something so simple. Heat. Going with out heat last spring in Dallas for over a week with temps in the low twenties was more than enough for me. I will not stay in a home with out heat again. That was horrible...like nightmare horrible.
Times in life are like that. Not everything is good every day, but the choice again is up to us to find the good in that moment of the day. Terry and I were warm and in the truck. We had a warm breakfast at IHOP and enjoyed our morning together despite the power outage.
So I challenge you when those outages happen in your life in other ways, to regroup, pray and go to the Father leaving Him to carry your frustration. Then get back into living and find the best in your situation. He will help you if you cannot see it.
Believe in abundance and prepare...

“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives” - 2 Peter 3:10-11
