I actually visited the collector that has this painting and totally fell in love with it onsite with a beautiful frame. Feels like Tuesday... but I know it is Monday afternoon. Second night last night of a short amount of sleep. I am looking forward to an early shower and climbing into bed!! The weather is what we call an Indian Summer, meaning the temps are in the nineties and the nights are in the low seventies. Couple more weeks and we will have the hint of fall with temps in the sixties at night! I am excited and ready.  Make the best of each day dear friend. Elle

I loved it there. It did not love me!  Mold was my downfall.  I was prolific at painting there with my studio looking over the waters of a large catfish pond and Lake Cypress Springs. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did.
